Our History:

For over a decade, the FedBiz Access (FBA) family has delivered actionable insight that empowers our customers to unlock their business potential in the federal market space. Thousands of organizations throughout the U.S. and Canada use FedBiz Access to research and identify opportunities, win new business, optimize resources, streamline operations, and deliver profitable projects. FedBiz Access was originally founded in 2000 by R. Wood Miles under the name FedPlanet. Mr. Miles earned a BA in Communications from the American University in Washington, DC and an MBA from the Harvard Business School in Boston, MA. Headquartered in Northern Virginia just outside of Washington, DC, FedPlanet has the distinction of being recognized as a GSA Industry Partner.

Prior to founding FedPlanet in 2000, Mr. Miles was Vice President and CFO of several Washington, DC area technology companies with responsibilities ranging from marketing and program management, to finance and contracts. Before that he was with the Government Consulting Services group of PricewaterhouseCoopers, HBH Company, and First Data Corporation. As FedPlanet continued to add depth and breadth to its service offerings the company continued to grow. In 2011, the FedBiz Access online business to government marketing platform was launched. Today, FedBiz Access provides full-service consulting services to thousands of businesses. The FedBiz Access approach targets exactly what its clients need to succeed in the government market space, and provides the tools to help get them there.
